Saturday Work 10/29

Crews will be onsite Saturday 10/29 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. working on installing windows and siding from the swing stage scaffolding along with possible roofing on top of the mechanical penthouse.

During the week, crews will continue working on drywall finishing and painting along with various mechanical installations inside the new tower. The tower crane will still be in operation moving materials from the ground to various floors of the building. The buck hoist will also be used to move people, equipment, and materials from floor to floor. Crews will be installing windows and siding on various elevations around the outside of the building. Roofing continues on the top of the mechanical penthouse.

These activities are expected to produce typical levels of construction noise but no vibrations.

Later in November, crews will be working to raise the pavement area next to the new tower to be the same level as Mt. Vernon Ave. This activity is anticipated to generate some minor vibration, and more details will be sent out via this blog as we get closer to this work occurring.
