Highland Welcomes Thomas G. Myers, M.D.
Highland welcomes Thomas G. Myers, M.D., board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction. In addition to authoring numerous publications on topics related to total knee arthroplasty, ankle and hindfoot fusions in diabetic and non-diabetic patients and osteonecrosis of the hip, he frequently lectures on topics related to adult reconstruction/orthopaedics.
Prior to joining the UR Medicine Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation, Dr. Myers served as an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction at Orthopaedics Northeast (ONE) in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was also a team physician for local high school football teams in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Myers received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed his clinical residency in orthopaedics at the University of Pittsburgh. In addition he completed a Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at The Cleveland Clinic and a Research Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at University of Virginia.
