Our Graduates: Where Are They Now?

Learning at URMC

Flexible Curriculum

There is flexibility in the program, and it is not uncommon for residents to change tracks during training as their learning objectives and career goals evolve.

Mentor Relationships

Our fellows most commonly reference the personal relationships and valuable mentoring they receive as one of the top reasons why they would recommend URMC.

Life of a URMC Fellow

Our emphasis on work/life balance is an important reason fellows choose URMC. A focus on trainees well-being enables you to learn and thrive in Rochester.

What Our Graduates Say About Rochester...

Brett Talbot, M.D.

"Rochester is a fantastic place to live and my family loved our time there. Housing is affordable, recreational activities are plentiful and there are great places to shop. The city has a soul and you can find your niche if you are single or bring an entourage with you. Quick trips to the Finger Lakes, Niagara Falls, and Toronto are easy to slip in on weekends off work. The airport has quick and frequent connections to East Coast and Midwest cities when you want to leave town."
