Speaker Biography: Kathleen Lynch

Kathleen A Lynch, Esq. is an Assistant United States Attorney in the Western District of New York. As an AUSA since 2010, Ms. Lynch has handled affirmative civil enforcement cases and civil tort cases as well as white collar and general criminal cases.  Prior to joining the USAO,  Ms. Lynch was a Supervising Attorney at the Western New York Law Center where her practice included representation in matters involving fair housing, fair lending, and accessibility for persons with disabilities. She served as an Attorney-Advisor and wrote decisions for Administrative Law Judges in the Office of Hearings and Appeals, Social Security Disability Administration.  Earlier in her legal career, Ms. Lynch was a Supervising Attorney and Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Society in New York City where she handled criminal cases.  Prior to that, Ms. Lynch worked in a private law firm in NYC which handled commercial litigation, trusts and estates and other matters. She is a graduate of New York University and the University of Buffalo Law School and is admitted to the NYS State Bar and United States District Courts in the Western, Eastern and Southern Districts.
