Hypertension and Renal Insufficiency

Educational Need
This course is designed to provide the primary care physician, advanced practice provider and specialty physician the latest updates in the evaluation and management of patients with resistant hypertension.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the rationale for current blood pressure targets in CKD patients
  • Appreciate the differing recommendations by different guidelines due to the paucity of high quality clinical trials.
