Collaboration to Overcome Lead Poisoning - the 2015 Upstate NY Lead Conference

Over the last two decades we have made tremendous progress in reducing childhood lead poisoning, but the problem has not yet been eliminated.  Conference attendees:
• will find out about the progress that has been made,
• will learn about successful collaborative models to address lead exposure,
• will be among the first to hear about new research on how lead contributes to violence, delinquency and incarceration,
• will be able to attend workshop sessions focusing on several areas related to lead poisoning, and
• will lend their voices to a discussion to determine the best next steps to better protect our children from lead.
