Course Summary

This course has been designed to provide the Advanced Practice Provider with the latest updates in the evaluation and management of patients with GI disorders across the lifespan.  Discussion of special patient populations will be covered with the opportunity for attending small group sessions allowing for a more in-depth participation.

At the conclusion of this conference, participants attending this conference will be able to:
• Describe Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, the magnitude of the problem in the U.S, and its risk of progression to cirrhosis and liver cancer.
• Identify common GI disorders during pregnancy
• Explain appropriate diagnostic testing for Irritable Bowel Syndrome
• Explain GI Disorders in Children and treatment needs/options
• Identify symptoms/treatments of Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Continuing education credit will be available for participants and participants may attend either one or both days.
