This course is designed to provide APRNs and RNs with a walk through of the process for children who are placed in foster care. Addressing adverse childhood trauma and the challenges that these children face along with anticipatory guidance surrounding certain issues specific to foster care.
After viewing this module participants should be able to:
1. Explain the reason and process for removal of a child.
2. Describe the impact of complex childhood trauma.
