So as not to tire the patient, visitors are asked to limit visiting time and keep the number of visitors to two people per patient. Visiting arrangements for children under the age of 14 years must be made through the Nursing Office or the Administrative Coordinator in charge.
Medical and Surgical Units
11 am to 8 pm
Unlimited visiting hours for patients of pediatric patients and families of hospice patients.
Special sleep accommodations can be arranged through the shift administrative coordinator, who will consider the circumstances on the unit before giving permission for overnight visitors.
Unlimited visiting hours for fathers.
Other visitors over 14 years of age: 2 pm to 3 pm
Grandparents and siblings: Noon to 1 pm and 7 pm to 8 pm
Intensive Care Unit/Coronary Care Unit
9 am to 7 pm, at the discretion of the ICU/CCU Charge Nurse. Only two visitors at a time.
If you have come to JMH for surgery, your family will be asked to wait in the surgical waiting room located on the ground floor across from the outpatient surgery area. Your physician will contact your family to update them on your condition or progress.
If you are in the Intensive Care Unit/Coronary Care Unit, there is a waiting room for your family's convenience on the second floor.
