We are currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Registration Clerk/PBX Operator. This position will be scheduled 29.75 hours per biweekly pay period. This position will work a varied schedule of day and evening hours including mandatory every other weekend hours with a holiday rotation. The main function of this position is to register patients in an efficient manner, following hospital policy and procedure, insure that accurate patient information is obtained and keyed into the computer system and assist patients, families and all customers following the Quality Management Plan. According to specified procedures, operate a console telephone switchboard in order to relay incoming, outgoing and inter-office calls. Perform various hospital communications and clerical duties. Act as hospital receptionist. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalency. Basic Computer skills and great customer service skills are required. Three months related experience preferred.
