Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Technologist

We are currently accepting applications for full-time and part-time Medical Technologists. These positions will work Monday thru Friday with weekend rotation and up to 3 holidays a year and alternative shift assignments as needed. The main function of this position is to provide accurate and timely laboratory test results that assist the clinician in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, utilizing previous technical training along with knowledge of applied quality control and quality assurance. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: BS or BA in Medical Technology or equivalent. Current NYS License and registration as Clinical Laboratory Technologist. National certification (ASCP) preferred.BS or BA in Medical Technology or equivalent, experience preferred, new grads welcome.
Lead Blood Bank Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Technologist

We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Lead Medical Technologist, Blood Bank, evening shift, plus weekend and holiday rotations and availability for all shifts. This position is responsible for evaluating, planning, performing all major tasks, duties and responsibility of the Medical Laboratory Technologist under the direction of the Administrative Director of Laboratory. This is a senior leadership role with student supervision, outstanding skills, specialization in clinical practice and a resource to other professionals. In addition, assists in management and coordination of all activities relating to provision of quality patient care within the Laboratory. May act as supervisor of the laboratory during absence of the Administrative Director of Laboratory.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: BS or BA in Medical Technology or equivalent. Current NYS License and registration as Clinical Laboratory Technologist is required. National certification (ASCP) preferred. 6 years of full time experience as a Medical Technologist.
