We are currently accepting applications for part time LPN in our Medical Practices. This position will be scheduled Monday through Friday, with the possibility of additional hours, or weekend & evening hours as patient care needs dictate.  The main function of this position is to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse and/or MD.  Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties as qualified by licensure, orientation, and competency.  QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:  Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.  New York State LPN licensure and current registration required.  One-year acute care and/or one-year doctor office experience with demonstrated excellent customer service skills and computer skills.  Use of electronic medical record is required.


We are currently accepting applications for a part-time Medical Practice Receptionist in the practice of Dr. Gilfert. This position will be scheduled 56 hours biweekly, Monday through Friday, with variable office days.  The main function of this position is to receive visitors and patients, ascertain their needs and direct them accordingly; to answer telephones, makes appointments, enter charges/procedure codes, maintain accurate patient demographic information on the computer and perform related clerical duties to support providers, nurses and patients.  QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:  High School Diploma or equivalent required; two years of Medical Secretarial program preferred.  Computer experience plus six months experience in a medical/clerical field with demonstrated strong organizational, verbal, written, telephone and customer service skills.
