Registered Nurses (RN)

OBSTETRICS STAFF NURSE 

$2500 to $5000 SIGN-ON BONUS DEPENDING ON YOUR EXPERIENCE!

We are currently accepting applications for full-time Obstetrics Staff Nurse, 72 hours biweekly.  This position will be scheduled NIGHTS from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am (three 12-hour shifts per week) with weekend and holiday rotations.  The main function of this position is to coordinate and participate in the total care of antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum obstetrical patient and newborn infant.  The OB nurse participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership to ancillary staff and others in maintaining standards of professional nursing.

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.  New York State RN Licensure and current registration required.  Successful candidate will be required to obtain NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, BLS & Fetal Monitoring.  2 – 3 years of direct Obstetrical Nursing is preferred.

MED/SURG STAFF NURSE

We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Medical Surgical Staff nurse for Night Shift (72 hours biweekly) Shifts will be 12 hours shifts (7 pm-7:30am) with holiday and weekend rotations.

The main function of this position is to coordinate total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; New York State Licensure and current registration as Registered Nurse required.  BLS certification required.  Three months related experience.

MED/SURG RN CLINICAL NURSE LEADER

We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Medical Surgical Clinical Nurse Leader position (72 hours biweekly, three 12-hour shifts each week).  We have two opportunities available, one for the 7 am - 7:30 pm assignment, the other is the 7 pm to 7:30 am.  Occasional holidays and weekends.

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, this position assists in management and coordination of all activities relating to provision of quality patient care on the Medical Surgical Unit during their shift.

The Clinical Nurse Leader is responsible for directing, organizing and supervising the work of the nursing staff, which includes registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), personal care technician (PCTs) and unit secretaries.   Coordinates nursing efforts to ensure that effective patient care is being provided and that quality standards are met.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.  New York State Licensure and current registration as Registered Nurse required. BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required.  At least one year of current medical/surgical experience as RN with proven effective communication skills.

ICU STAFF NURSE -- $5,000 SIGN-ON FOR EXPERIENCE ICU RN!

We are currently accepting applications for a Full-Time ICU Staff Nurse.  This position is a night shift position working 72 hours bi-weekly, three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7 pm to 7:30 am, with holiday and weekend rotation.

The main function of this position is to provide intensive nursing care of patients in the ICU.  Participates in patient and family teaching and works cooperatively with other ICU nurses, ancillary nursing and other personnel. Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.  New York State Licensure and current registration, BLS and ACLS certifications are required.  Critical Care Course or Arrhythmia Recognition course preferred or completion within 1st year in ICU.

Emergency Department Staff Nurse 

We are currently accepting applications for Full-time Staff Nurse in the Emergency Department, to be scheduled for Evenings/Nights - 8 hours and 12 hour shifts, with weekend and holiday rotations.

The ER staff nurse coordinates and participates in the total nursing care of those clients presenting with emergent exacerbation of chronic conditions, sudden onset acute illness, minor injury or trauma. The ER staff nurse participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership to ancillary staff and others in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice.

Qualifications and Experience:  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. New York State RN Licensure and current registration required. BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications are required. One-year Acute Care experience as an ER RN preferred. Must have demonstrated excellent customer service skills.

RN Float – Full Time & Part Time – Eligible for Premium Pay

We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Float Staff RN, 80 hours biweekly. This position will be scheduled primarily 8 hour shifts, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, with weekend/holiday rotations.

We are also currently accepting applications for a part-time Float Staff RN, 32 hours biweekly. This position will be scheduled primarily 8 hour shifts, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, with weekend/holiday rotations.

This position will function as a Staff Nurse in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, MedSurg Unit and Obstetrics Unit as required with primary function in the Emergency Department.

Qualifications and Experience:  Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. NYS licensure as RN and current registration required. BLS, ACLS & PALS (or ENPC) certification required (ACLS & PALS/ENPC may be attained during initial orientation to department). One year acute care experience as an ER RN preferred. This position will be able to function as Staff Nurse in all of the above units. Must have demonstrated excellent customer service skills.

RN Per Diem Opportunities

We have per diem opportunities in our Med/Surg, ER, ICU and OB units for NYS licensed Registered Nurses. We also have per diem opportunities for Administrative Coordinator (supervision). Other specific requirements may apply in the specialty units.

PER DIEM - Stress Testing & Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab Staff Nurse

We are currently accepting applications for a Per Diem Stress Testing & Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab Staff Nurse (RN). This position will work on an as needed basis to help relieve the Full Time Nurse for vacations and other time off as well as when patient care needs dictate.

The main function of this position is to provide safe and accurate completion of ordered Cardiac Stress Tests.

This position will work collaboratively with Pulmonary Rehabilitation team members including patient /family, PR Medical Director, Primary Medical Physician, Rehab Director, Director of ICU & CardioPulmonary Services, PT/ATC and dietician to provide quality patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current NYS license and registration as an RN. Current BLS and ACLS certification required. ER or ICCU experience preferred.  6 months experience in which assessment skills and arrhythmia recognition have been demonstrated.  Experience with use of exercise equipment preferred. Knowledge regarding Wellness and healthy lifestyle behaviors helpful.
