Koha Hoang (DeLouise Lab) who is a rising senior majoring in Microbiology and Data Science competed in the University of Rochester Biomedical Data Science Hackathon Summer 2020 organized by Goergen Institute for Data Science.
His team took first place among undergrads and third place over all for his work using machine learning to identify which of five genomic data modalities best predicts the severity of respiratory syncytial virus disease in infants. Congrats Koha!
