A 2-3 year postdoctoral position is available starting as soon as summer 2015 in the Kobie lab to develop effective B cell-targeted vaccine strategies to prevent HIV. The position will support a newly funded NIH R01 project that will integrate mouse, non-human primate, and human B cell biology focused on qualitative tuning of the B cell response to HIV.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in immunology or related field with a strong background in cellular and molecular biology and experience with flow cytometry, small animal handling, and bioinformatics. Strong communication skills and at least one peer-reviewed first author publication required. F32/T32 eligibility preferred.
