Deadlines

Failure to meet Pathway deadlines will result in the student being withdrawn from the Pathway.

Year 1

Fall Pathway information session held
October 15 Preliminary Pathway Application submitted
March 1 Students meet with mentor to discuss their preliminary Pathway plans
May 15 Completed Year 1 check sheet reviewed with and signed by mentor and Advising Dean, and submitted to Pathway Coordinator, Christine Donnelly, who obtains Pathway Director's signature

Year 2

October 15 Formal application submitted
January 1 Acceptance letter received
May 15 Completed Year 2 check sheet reviewed with and signed by mentor and Advising Dean, and submitted to Pathway Coordinator, Christine Donnelly, who obtains Pathway Director's signature

Year 3

June 30 Two-page proposal regarding the final project, including a final title, a clear and concise thesis, statement of research or community health issue or question to be addressed, a brief discussion of methodology and sources to be used, reviewed and signed by mentor and Advising Dean, and submitted to Pathway Director 

Year 4

October 15 Completed Pathway Project Progress Check Sheet reviewed and signed by mentor and Advising Dean must be submitted to Dr. Brown Clark (for History, Narrative and Visual Arts) or to Dr. Margie Shaw (for Bioethics)
February 1 Completed Year 3/4 check sheet reviewed with and signed by mentor and Advising Dean, and submitted to Pathway Coordinator, Christine Donnelly, who obtains Pathway Director's signature
February 1 Completed Pathway Project reviewed and signed by mentor must be submitted to Dr. Brown Clark (for History, Narrative and Visual Arts) or to Dr. Margie Shaw (for Bioethics).
