Karen Kruzer, MD

Karen Kruzer, MD received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency training here at the University of Rochester where she graduated with distinctions in Research and Medical Education. Dr. Kruzer is currently completing a fellowship in Rheumatology. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, and her interests include scleroderma, quality improvement, and medical education.

Dr. Kruzer has been awarded a 2023 John Leddy Fellowship Research Grand for her project “The Potential Utility of CD47/TSP-1 Pathway as a Biomarker in Scleroderma Lung Disease” and is being mentored by Benjamin Korman, MD.
