Medicine in Psychiatry (MIPS)

In response to the COVID-19 situation, we are providing our usual services, but we have converted most to telephone visits. We are still accepting walk-ins and same-day visits and still have the same hours of operation.

Our Medicine in Psychiatry Service (MIPS) provides primary medical care services to adults ages 18 and up who may also be receiving mental health and/or substance abuse services within our health system. Our team of physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, care managers, and a licensed practical nurse work together to provide care and treatment to promote health and wellness. MIPS patients also have access to our onsite pharmacy, lab services, and same-day appointments.

A unique part of our MIPS program is a 20-bed Inpatient Medicine in Psychiatry Unit (IMIP). Here, patients receive combined medical and mental health care during serious health difficulties that require hospitalization. For more detailed information about IMIP, please see the Inpatient Services page.
