College Health Talks

These talks, lead by Tiffany Panko, were specifically for college students and focused on different health topics that cause a major concern for today's college students. These topics ranged from "Stress Management" to "Sports Injuries". The presentations, held once a month, were held at NTID in the Student Development Center.

This workshop focused on explaining what stress is, when it can be good or bad, and what it really does to the body in both the short-term and long-term. Management techniques were discussed, including an opportunity for participants to practice some yoga poses.

With the New Year, for many, comes a new you with new goals! This workshop aims to help students accomplish some of those goals and improve their overall health. There will be discussion of how to lose weight the healthy way as well as why volunteering is important, along with an opportunity (maybe two) to sign up for a volunteering event.
