Clinical Services

The Movement Disorders Division provides diagnosis and comprehensive care to people with neurological movement disorders such as

  • Dystonia
  • Huntington’s Disease
  • Parkinson’s Disease and related parkinsonian conditions
  • Tremor/Essential Tremor
  • Tourette’s Syndrome/tic disorders
  • Tardive Dyskinesia
  • Ataxia

The staff serving the Center includes neurologists, nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, postgraduate neurologists, a social worker and a neuropsychologist.  Staff members are committed to the care and treatment of patients (and families) affected by movement disorders.  We are active in clinical research aimed at slowing the progression of various movement disorders and finding alternative therapies to improve the quality of life for our patients.

Diagnosis and treatment services are available and include evaluation including clinical consultation and neuropsychological testing services, treatment recommendations and specialized treatment approaches including Deep Brain Stimulation, Botulinum toxin therapy, continuous levodopa infusion therapy,. We also offer clinical services via telemedicine (contact Jill Lowell)
