EXPERIMENTAL THERAPEUTICS TRAINING GRANT
FINANCIAL FACT SHEET
First year trainees receive a stipend commensurate with their PGY level plus benefits. Total compensation in the subsequent year(s) is based on performance and trainees’ current portfolio of research support.
The fellowship provides a travel stipend of $1,000 each year, with $500 to travel to a scientific Neurology meeting/workshop that enhances the research training experience and $500 to support travel to the annual NINDS T32 workshop. Additional funds are generally available for trainees presenting their research. Trainees attend and frequently present at national and international meetings in their field of interest.
The training grant and University provide educational funds sufficient to cover the costs of courses.
$7,500 is available annually to cover expenses such as software, books, and research costs.
$2500 is available annually for childcare costs.
