Successful Aging Talk Set for May 4

Advice on “Aging Successfully” will be offered from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 4, as the Jewish Community Center and Strong Health Women’s Services seminar series continues at the JCC, 1200 Edgewood Ave. in Rochester.
Geriatric expert William J. Hall, M.D., Paul Fine Professor at the University of Rochester Medical Center and director of the Center for Healthy Aging, will present tips on maintaining good health and enjoying senior life. Hall founded the Center for Lifetime Wellness, a fully equipped fitness and wellness resource based at Monroe Community Hospital that serves more than 500 people over the age of 50 and includes outreach programs that reach more than 600 adults in minority communities. Recognized nationally and internationally for his work in geriatrics, he is a frequent speaker locally and across the country, strongly committed to preventive health.
The women’s health education series is offered for free to JCC members and for $5 per session for non-members. Registration is required as space is limited. To register, please call (585) 461-2000.
