New Support Group for People with Pancreatic Cancer Meets June 7

Treatment and survival of pancreatic cancer will be discussed at a 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, meeting of a new support group formed by the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center and the University of Rochester Medical Center Department of Surgery.
The meeting is open to anyone diagnosed with pancreatic cancers and their caregivers. It will be held in the Louise Slaughter Conference Room at the Kornberg Medical Research Building, located at the intersection of Elmwood Avenue and Kendrick Road. Free parking is available.
Social worker Patrice Rogers will lead the group, which meets quarterly. Future meetings will be held Sept. 6, Dec. 6 and March 7.
