Wilmot Cancer Center Taps Nancy Gaillard for Volunteer Coordinator

Nancy Gaillard has joined the James P. Wilmot Cancer Centeras coordinator of volunteers. She will recruit and manage volunteers who provide assistance to people with cancer in a variety of ways.
Gaillard was previously membership manager for Girl Scouts of the Genesee Valley and has 17 years of management experience.
“She is an outstanding addition to our dedicated team of support staff at the Wilmot Cancer Center,” said Richard I. Fisher, M.D., director of the Wilmot Cancer Center.
A graduate of SUNY Brockport, she earned a master’s degree in public administration there and a master’s degree in social work from Syracuse University. She served as health services manager in the Air Force from 1983-1988, reaching the rank of major, and in the Air Force Reserves until 1999.
The Wilmot Cancer Center has about 40 volunteers who assist people with cancer. To volunteer, contact Gaillard at 273-3895.
