Bellini’s Italian Eatery Opening to Benefit Golisano Children’s Hospital

We’re new to the Rochester area, but we’re already impressed by the sterling reputation of this region’s only children’s hospital.
Bellini’s Italian Eatery makes its debut in the Rochester community, celebrating the grand opening of its Victor location Oct. 10 and 11. All proceeds from the opening will benefit Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong.
“We’re new to the Rochester area, but we’re already impressed by the sterling reputation of this region’s only children’s hospital,” said the restaurant’s owner, Joseph Marrello. “This will be the fourth Bellini’s restaurant in the region, and it marks the first time we’ll open our doors for the good of a local children’s hospital. Rochester has made that such an obvious choice.”
Bellini’s, designed to emulate the look and feel of a metropolitan Italian bistro, promises that authentic Italian fare needn’t be expensive or stuffy to be delicious. The restaurant boasts a full takeout menu of “Gourmet-to-Go" options, two banquet facilities, a catering menu and an extensive wine list; it replaces the former Houlihan’s at 10 Square Dr. in Eastgate Plaza, across from Eastview Mall.
Charity event times include:
- 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 10 for dinner ($20 per person suggested donation)
- 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 11 for lunch ($10 per person suggested donation)
- 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 11 for dinner ($20 per person suggested donation) or “Chef’s Table” (a special smorgasbord of heavy hors d’oeuvres, in lieu of a more formal dinner, $15 per person suggested donation)
All meals offer a pre-selected menu featuring an appetizer or dessert, entrée and non-alcoholic beverage (a cash bar will be available). Seating is limited and reservations, required for lunch and dinner (not the Chef’s Table), may be placed by calling (585) 223-4680. Parties of up to four people are welcome.
