Wilmot Breast Cancer Experts Offer Q&A Session Nov. 30

Two breast cancer experts from the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center at the University of Rochester Medical Center will lead an ask-the-expert session at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 30, at Gilda’s Club, 255 Alexander St.
Surgeon Kristin Skinner, M.D., and breast oncologist Alissa Huston, M.D., of the Wilmot multidisciplinary breast cancer program, will answer questions about breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and survival.
Skinner recently joined the Wilmot Cancer Center from New York University. She is director of the Wilmot multidisciplinary breast cancer program, the largest program in the Finger Lakes Region. A graduate of University of Rochester who earned her M.D. degree at Johns Hopkins University, Skinner completed her training in surgery and oncology at the University of California at Los Angeles.
Huston is a graduate of Wheaton College and studied medicine at SUNY at Buffalo. She completed her residency training at Strong Memorial Hospital.
