Saturn Rochester Criterium bike race benefits the Wilmot Cancer Center.
The James P. Wilmot Cancer Center is looking for volunteers for the fourth annual Saturn Rochester Twilight Criterium, an international professional bicycle race set for Saturday, June 23. This race draws competitors and fans from throughout the world to see the excitement as bicyclists speed through downtown Rochester streets.
The Wilmot Cancer Center, a beneficiary of the event, needs volunteers to help sell beverages, popcorn and raffle tickets along the downtown course from 5 p.m. until the end of the race. To volunteer for a 3.5-hour shift, contact the Wilmot Cancer Center Development Office at (585) 242-8988.
The drawing is for a Madone SL trek bicycle, donated by Full Moon Vista, a sponsor of the Criterium. Tickets are $5 or three for $10.
Anyone interested in purchasing tickets for the drawing in advance of the Criterium, can contact the Wilmot Cancer Center Development Office at (585) 242-8988. The winner will be selected at the end of the Criterium.
