Public Reading Set for School of Medicine and Dentistry Literary Journal

The fall 2007 edition of turtlequill, the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry’s literary journal, will debut at a public reading Monday, Nov. 12, at the Rochester Academy of Medicine, 1441 East Ave.

The journal is edited by School of Medicine and Dentistry students and Frank Edwards, M.D., adjunct assistant professor in the School’s Division of Medical Humanities.
The reading is made possible in part by a grant from the New York Council for the Humanities. Additional sponsors include the School of Medicine and Dentistry’s Division of Medical Humanities and the University of Rochester’s Interdisciplinary Cluster for Human Values in Healthcare, as well as donations from Edwards and Robert Caldwell, M.D. Use of the Rochester Academy of Medicine facility is made possible through the generosity of Hechmat Tabechian, M.D., Ph.D., the Academy’s executive director.
