Season of Giving Extends to Spring, Helps Children's Hospital

The "Masters of Magic Show" is just one of many upcoming family-fun activities that benefits Golisano Children's Hospital.

Local organizations are proving that the holidays aren't the only season to give – they’re extending their generous spirit into spring! With fundraising plans that include talented local children, crew practice in the mall and a truly magical performance, support for the patients and families at Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong shines as brightly as the sun that melts the snow!
Abracadabra: enjoy a night of magic and intrigue
If you love magical illusions, enjoy mystery and fun and are looking for a family-friendly weekend activity, then the Masters of Magic Show is for you. Come join the bewitchment, set for 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at 300 East River Road. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased in advance starting March 17, or at the door the night of the event. All proceeds benefit Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong. Can't get enough “American Idol?" Watch talented kids, Rochester style
There won’t be celebrity judges, and all of America won’t be watching, but you can watch some of Rochester’s most talented kids compete for top honors at the 6th annual Talent for Tots and Teens Talent Show, beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, April 4, at 300 East River Road. Or, if you know a talented child, you can register him or her today! Tickets are $10 per person; children under 5 years old are free. Row for dough: local crew team sweats, shows they care
Come support the Pittsford Crew team as they support Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 5. Novice and varsity-level rowers will collect pledges to row on stationary machines at their Erg-A-Thon event in the Bon-Ton Court at Eastview Mall.
