Free Seminar Explores Dental Implants, Crowns and Bleaching

How dental implants can enhance chewing function, improve the esthetics of one's smile, as well as keep dentures in place will be the focus of a free seminar from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 14, at The Highlands at Pittsford's Hahnemann Club, 301 Stoutenburgh Lane, off of Hahnemann Trail.
The seminar is led by Hans Malmstrom, DDS, chair of General Dentistry at University of Rochester Medical Center's Eastman Dental Center. He will also talk about the newest techniques for bleaching, creating crowns and applying porcelain and composite veneers.
Malmstrom, who is active in clinical research and trials related to dental implants, adhestives, cements and bleaching agents, is the director of the annual Esthetic Program at the University of Rochester. He has published 16 articles and 40 abstracts for various dental publications. He is a member of the International Association of Dental Research, the Academy of Osseo-Integration, the American Association of Dental Research, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
