Free Programs Answer Couples’ Pregnancy, Fertility Questions

Strong Health will hold two free information sessions in September at the Marriott Inn in Greece to help couples learn about preparing for pregnancy and childbirth, and to better understand infertility and potential treatments.
“Maybe Baby,” presented on September 20, will explore preparing for pregnancy, guidelines and expectations during pregnancy, childbirth and infant care. Presenters include obstetrician/gynecologists Adrienne Bonham, M.D., and Laureen Burke, M.D., of Partners in Women’s Health, Thomas McNanley, M.D., chief of obstetrics and gynecology at Highland Hospital, and Kathleen Garvey, R.N., obstetrics education coordinator. “The Promise of IVF” will be the topic on September 29 as William Phipps, M.D., reproductive endocrinologist with the Strong Fertility and Reproductive Science Center, discusses the causes and diagnosis of infertility, treatments options, in vitro fertilization and other infertility treatment alternatives.
