Event Aims to Help Women ‘Break Free’ from Bladder Problems

Experts to Share Information on Rarely Discussed Topic

The University of Rochester Medical Center’s Division of Urogynecology and the Pelvic Floor Disorder Alliance will host a free educational event offering expert advice about bladder health and incontinence treatment options, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the Women’s Health Pavilion, 500 Red Creek Drive, Rochester.

“Bladder Health for Women” will cover topics that affect many women but are rarely discussed, focusing on incontinence. Gunhilde Buchsbaum, M.D., professor and director of urogynecology at URMC, and a team of physicians and nurse practitioners will present information and answer questions on signs, symptoms, and treatment options.

The program is free and light refreshments will be served. Registration is required as seating is limited. To register, please call (585) 275-URMC (8762).
