“With the growing demand for orthopaedic specialty services from throughout the region, we’re delighted to open a new site that makes it easier for patients in southern Monroe County, Ontario County and the Finger Lakes region to see our specialists closer to their homes,” said Paul T. Rubery, MD, Marjorie Strong Wehle Professor and Chair of the Department of Orthopaedics at UR Medicine.

“It’s especially gratifying to partner with Thompson Health, which has been providing excellent physical therapy and rehabilitation care to patients in the region for many years.”

“The opening of this new facility is a wonderful opportunity for UR Medicine to expand its services and provide greater convenience to patients in the Finger Lakes region,” said Kurt Koczent, Executive VP/COO for Thompson Health. “Pairing our services with orthopaedic specialty care means that patients now have one convenient place for outpatient visits, combined with the nationally recognized physical therapy and rehabilitation they may need during treatment and recovery.”
