Science Spotlight: Meet Michael T. Sellix, Ph.D.

Michael T. Sellix, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, studies circadian rhythms and biological clocks and how they play a role in endocrine disorders such as polycystic ovary syndrome or PCOS. Over the past year, his work has appeared in the Journal of Neuroscience, Endocrinology and Biology of Reproduction. In June he was awarded the 2013 Early Investigators Award by the Endocrine Society and he recently received a pilot grant from the Environmental Health Sciences Center to study the effects of Bisphenol-A (BPA) exposure during early development on fertility and clock function in females.
