TKO Barber Shop hosts Cut-a-Thon to Knock Out Cancer Aug. 14

TKO Barber Shop on North Goodman Street will offer a cut-a-thon to “knock out cancer” and support the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14

There will be drawings, face-painting, carnival-style games, refreshments, and $5 haircuts for kids. The shop is located at 1367 N. Goodman St., near Bausch and Lomb.

There will be information about important prostate, breast, colorectal, uterine and skin cancer screenings and lifestyle changes to help prevent cancer.

The Wilmot Cancer Center is Rochester and Finger Lakes region leader in cancer care and research. It has a team of more than 400 doctors, scientists, nurses and support staff dedicated to finding cures.
