Wilmot Doctor to Discuss Advances in Myeloma Treatment Oct. 27

 A myeloma expert from the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center will offer insight into the latest discoveries and advances in treatments during a free educational program at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Gilda’s Club.

Jeffrey Allerton, M.D., F.A.C.P., will lead the session, sponsored by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. He will discuss new and emerging myeloma treatments available through clinical trials, symptom management and how to effectively communicate with your doctor. 

A complimentary dinner will be provided at 5 p.m. followed by the program from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
