Per Diem, Evenings and Weekends
Previous experience functioning as a Physician Assistant in emergency medicine, physician's office or urgent care center required. Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills required.
FT and PT Evenings (2 Positions)
Assist qualified licensed physicians in the diagnostic and emergency management and treatment of patients in the Emergency department. Perform Employee Health responsibilities.
Graduation from an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Must be licensed and registered to practice in New York State and Board Certified required. Must possess and maintain current CPR, ACLS and NCCPA certification required. Certification in ATLS or equivalent must be obtained within one year of employment. Previous experience functioning as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in emergency medicine required.
Family Nurse Practitioner - Canaseraga Practice
Graduation from an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Must be licensed and registered to practice in New York State and Board Certification required. Must possess and maintain current CPR, age appropriate certification to care for pediatric to geriatric patients and FNP certification required. ACLS preferred.
Previous experience functioning as a Nurse Practitioner in emergency medicine, physician office or urgent care center required. Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills required as demonstrated by: *ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities *strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by customer-focused attitude and the ability to maintain effective working relationships and communication with all levels of hospital staff *ability to use sound judgment and discretion to deal professionally with sensitive patient care and interpersonal issues.
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Administer intravenous, spinal and other anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, deliveries or other medical procedures.
Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a current license in New York State as a registered nurse. Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education programs or it's predecessor. Successfully completed the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or its predecessor's certification exam. Meets the AANA Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists biennial recertification criteria.
Previous CRNA experience desirable.
