The Noyes Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is offering up to $5000 in college scholarships.

The Nicholas H. Noyes Memorial Scholarship Auxiliary is offering up to $5000 in college scholarships. Scholarships will be awarded to qualified students matriculating in an associate or bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university in medicine, nursing, or any other health-related field, including dentistry, ophthalmology, and pharmacy. We are inviting you to to apply for these scholarships.  We are glad we are able to offer this opportunity to help students in the Noyes Memorial Hospital service area defray the high expenses incurred by today’s college students.

You are asked to provide two letters of recommendation…one must be from your high school counselor and a letter of recommendation from an individual that knows you well. In addition, please include an official copy of your student academic transcript. We would also like a list of the courses you are presently taking and any  you will take in the last 20 weeks of school. The following is a listing of important dates to remember: 

  • February 11, 2013   student application, transcript, list of senior year coursework, TWO letters of recommendation ( one from the school counselor and one from another individual that knows the applicant well) should be at the address below on or before this date.  Applications received after this date may not be considered.
  • March 18, 2013 – March 22, 2013        Interviews will be held on one of these days
  • By April 12, 2013    Winners will be notified by phone
  • Winners and their parents will be honored at the auxiliary’s April dinner meeting at the end of April
