Noyes Health celebrates Doctors Day
Monday, March 31, 2014
On March 30th, hospitals and communities around the nation will observe National Doctor’s Day. Doctor’s Day is an opportunity to express our gratitude to physicians and acknowledge their contributions and their role in caring for the health and well-being of our community.
A doctor’s commitment goes beyond the time they spend in their practice or the hospital setting caring for their patients. Many physicians perform a number of other roles such as mentoring, teaching medical students, research initiatives, and involvement in health promotion and disease prevention programs. Some physicians become involved in government decision-making and policy formation. Many of our physicians participate on medical staff committees alongside their colleagues to continually ensure patients receive the best possible care at Noyes Health. All of these contributions are valued and we celebrate the physicians committed to serving the needs in our community.
Take a moment to say “Thank You” to a physician today! Your words and support are a powerful source of encouragement.
Physicians are invited to enjoy bagels, scones, fruit and coffee available from 8 a.m. – 11a.m. on Monday, March 31st, 2014 in the Switchboard lobby in recognition of Doctor’s Day 2014.
