Noyes Health is proud to recognize its exemplary nursing staff during National Nurses Week, May 6th - 12th. Every year, National Nurses Week focuses attention on the diverse ways America's 3.1 million registered nurses work to save lives and to improve the health of millions of individuals. This year, the American Nurses Association (ANA) has selected "Ethical Practice. Quality Care.” as the theme for 2015’s National Nurses Week.

The nurses at Noyes Health deliver quality care across the healthcare system, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Noyes nurses care for inpatients admitted to Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, as well as outpatient service areas including the Noyes Kidney Disease and Dialysis Center and Noyes Health Services in Geneseo, physician practices, Radiology, Surgical Services, Case Management, Community Outreach and Staff Education. Noyes Health employs one hundred and forty nurses who work side by side with its medical staff to deliver compassionate care close to home for tens of thousands of people each year. Many of the nurses who work at Noyes Health live in, or grew up in the Western Finger Lakes region, which enables them to bring a sense of neighborly kindheartedness and caring to the important work they do in serving the needs of our communities.

“Our nurses not only demonstrate the highest standards of nursing care throughout the organization, they approach their roles with dignified professionalism and unrivaled compassion for the patients and family members that come through our doors every day,” says Amy Pollard, President and CEO, and a nurse herself. “Our nurses are the conduit to our patients, and the feedback we receive about our nursing staff tells me that our nurses are truly unsurpassed.”

Noyes Health is proud to publicly thank its nurses this week and throughout the year!
