STROKE BASICS EVENT

Someone in the US has a stroke approximately every 40 seconds. Stroke, the number 4 cause of death in the US, will kill 130,000 people this year alone. Learning about strokes is the first step in prevention. Noyes Health in conjunction with the Genesee Valley Health Partnership is proud to present Stroke Basics – a FREE program designed for the general public about the prevention, symptoms, and treatment of strokes. Ann Leonhardt from the University of Rochester Medical Center Stroke Center will speak about the advances in the field of stroke prevention and treatment. The Stroke Basics event will take place on Thursday, December 3 at 7 pm at Noyes Health in Dansville. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event. Pre-registration is preferred but not required.
