Pathology Research Day 2015

GreggSemenza2015Dr. Gregg L. Semenza, M.D., Ph.D, (at left) was the 2015 keynote speaker for Pathology Research Day. He is a professor of pediatrics, radiation oncology and molecular radiation sciences, biological chemistry, medicine, and oncology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. 

Later that day, Dr. Scott Kirkley, Director of our Residency Program, recognized Chief Resident Moritz Stolla and Associate Chief Resident Michael Maguilli for their service.

SmollerChristaWM2015In addition, department Chair Dr. Bruce Smoller recognized Dr. Christa Whitney-Miller, associate professor in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (photo at left), for her work to transition our department to a full sub-specialty sign-out service in anatomical pathology at Strong and Highland Hospitals.
