Educational research in the Division of General Pediatrics is focused on education of residents and fellows, practitioners in the community, patients and families, and faculty. Faculty and fellows are engaged in multiple educational studies: education of practitioners in quality improvement and use of long-acting contraception; community learning collaboratives for obesity prevention; teaching adolescents and parents in the foster care system; breastfeeding education; resident education in behavioral health and child abuse; and building faculty skills in educational scholarship.
