Gracielle BahiaThird Year Fellow

Gracielle Bahia, D.O., M.A.
Gracielle was born and raised in northern New Jersey. Throughout her life, she frequently visited her relatives in upstate New York and considers it her second home. She completed medical school in Kansas City, Missouri, where she obtained a dual degree in Osteopathic Medicine and Masters of Arts in Bioethics. She enjoyed the opportunity to travel across the United States during her 3rd and 4th clinical years in medical school. She also completed clerkships in Michigan, Ohio, Chicago, IL, and Colorado. She then completed her general pediatrics residency at SUNY Buffalo, at the Women and Children's Hospital at Buffalo.

Her current academic interests in this field include inflammatory bowel disease, in which she presented her research on Crohn's disease at NASPGHAN during her residency. In addition, she is also interested in integrative and complementary medical approaches to gastrointestinal conditions.

Outside of her professional career, Gracielle is interested in modern dance, painting, martial arts, meditation, and physician wellness.

Imdad UllahSecond Year Fellow

Imdad Ullah, M.B.B.S.

Imdad was born in Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan. He attended medical school in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his Pediatric residency at Charleston Area Medical Center, West Virginia University, Charleston, WV. He participated in several volunteer activities. His areas of interest include Pediatric Hepatology and Pancreatic Diseases. Outside of work, Imdad enjoys soccer, cricket and cooking.

Ayesha BaigSecond Year Fellow

Ayesha Baig, M.B.B.S.

Ayesha Baig received her medical degree from Dow Medical College in Pakistan. In 2014, Dr. Baig joined pediatric residency program at Brookdale University hospital in New York. There, she pursued her interest in the field of Gastroenterology and was selected for various presentations at prestigious meetings including NASPGHAN, ESPR and PAS. Following her residency, she joined the Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Fellowship Program at the University at Buffalo in July 2017. After successfully completing her first year at University of Buffalo, she transferred to University of Rochester in July 2018. Dr. Baig interests in GI include inflammatory bowel disease, eosinophilic esophagitis and fatty liver diseases. In her spare time, Ayesha enjoys traveling, swimming and spending time with her family and friends.

Zaev MinkoffFirst Year Fellow

Nathan "Zev" Minkoff, M.D.

Zev was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He graduated from Oberlin College with a Bachelors degree in Biology. He attended medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical School, then completed his pediatric residency training at Cohen Children's Hospital. Zev's research interests include nutrition and the microbiome. He loves to travel and dance with his wife, Eva.
