Immunization Delivery and Policy

Immunization Delivery and PolicyOur group studies critical issues in child and adolescent immunization delivery and policy. This includes studies of the impact of vaccine-preventable diseases and diseases potentially preventable by new vaccines (e.g., rotavirus and norovirus vaccines), influenza vaccination delivery (e.g., school-based flu vaccinations), HPV vaccination delivery, methods to improve influenza, HPV, and other adolescent immunization levels (e.g., reminder/recall, immunization registries, provider prompts, communication strategies), vaccine financing, and practice-based quality improvement initiatives. Our work has contributed to the licensure of new vaccines such as rotavirus vaccine, new recommendations such as universal influenza vaccination and adolescent vaccinations, and new financing and delivery mechanisms as well as new national immunization guidelines.
