Pediatric and Environmental Medicine Histology Service: This service provides, processing of tissues primarily from research animal models, from collection through fixative, dehydration, paraffin embedding and sectioning, or for frozen sections from harvest through cryopreservation, embedding and cryosectioning. The service also provides basic histologic stains ( H&E, Trichrome, Picrosirius Red, Toludine blue and PAS stains) as well as immunohistochemical techniques for light and fluorescent microscopy.
