Health policy concerns, care of the underserved, and refugee health are some of her medical interests. Congresswoman Louise Slaughter hired her to spend an interesting year (1993-94) advising her on health policy issues.
Carolyn is interested in hiking and backpacking, gardening, and spends time volunteering at Corpus Christi Center.
