Stephanie enjoys working with the pediatric community and has spent her career working to find ways to improve the health care of some of the communities most at-risk children. She practices an all-encompassing care approach as she feels that each person's health care is affected by all aspects of their life.

Stephanie was a registered nurse in pediatrics from 2006-2011. She worked with diverse populations through her employment on pediatric inpatient and pediatric emergency departments. She earned her Masters degree in 2011 and began as a Nurse Practitioner at the Golisano Children's Hospital Pediatric Practice upon graduation. She completed her doctoral degree with a focus in child neglect in May 2015. Stephanie's research interests include the care of high risk children, screening for child neglect within primary care and child sexual abuse. She incorporates her areas of expertise into her own life as she is currently a foster mother of medically fragile children.
