Professional Background
Dr. Snyder started studying the art and science of medicine when she turned 15 years old. After obtaining her degree in Nursing with honors she received her MD with honors from one of the oldest and most prestigious medical schools in Ukraine ¬- Kharkiv State Medical University -¬ in 2005. Dr. Snyder started studying the art and science of medicine when she turned 15 years old. After obtaining her degree in Nursing with honors she received her MD with honors from one of the oldest and most prestigious medical schools in Ukraine ¬- Kharkiv State Medical University -¬ in 2005. This was followed by two year Masters Degree program in Medicine with a pediatric internship in Kharkiv, Ukraine. She then completed her Child Neurology training at the University of Rochester in 2013 and Neuromuscular Fellowship in 2014. Dr. Snyder practiced in Louisiana for almost 3 years before relocating back to Rochester.
Dr. Snyder opened her solo practice - Little Buddies Child Neurology - in 2018: the first and only Child Neurology private practice in Greater Rochester Area. In 2020 she was recruited by Rochester Regional Health as a Pediatric Neurology Division Lead.
Yuliya Snyder, MD is a member of American Academy of Neurology, Child Neurology Society, American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, and the Monroe County Medical Society.
Dr. Snyder is board certified in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology, in Epilepsy, and in Neuromuscular Medicine by The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and in Headache Medicine by the United Council for Neurological Subspecialties.
Dr. Snyder enjoys biking, swimming, dancing, and spending time with her husband and three sons.
