Tate Feeney received his doctorate of pharmacy from Ferris State University in 2017. Tate then completed a 1 year pharmacy practice residency at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI. In 2018, Tate came to Rochester, NY to complete a 1 year residency in oncology pharmacy practice at Strong Memorial Hospital. Upon completion of the residency, Tate joined the staff at Wilmot Cancer Center for several months before starting in October 2019 as the inpatient bone and marrow transplant (BMT) pharmacy clinical specialist. As the BMT pharmacy clinical specialist Tate is involved in optimizing patient care for patients before, during, and after autologous and allogeneic HSCT, acts as the authorized representative for commercial CAR-T cell therapies, and works with providers to develop and review SOPs related to the program.

Tate's interests include pharmacokinetic monitoring of chemotherapy and immunosuppressive medication, alternative donor transplant, graft-versus-host disease treatment and prophylaxis, and endothelial dysfunction in HSCT.
